Rygielska in the quarter finals of the boxing European championship
Aneta Rygielska (60 kg) after winning unanimously on points 5-0 over the Kosovo representative Donjet Sadik, she was promoted to the quarterfinals of the boxing European championship in Sofia. In the 1/8 final, however, Karolina Koszewska, who fought in the 69 kg category, dropped off that day.

Koszewska przegrała z Finką Eliną Gustafsson jednogłośnie na punkty. Dzień wcześniej, w 1/16 finału, pokonała 5-0 Szwedkę Marianne Ahlborg.
Mistrzostwa Europy kobiet rozgrywane są od 17 lat. Do tej pory Polki zdobyły 30 medali, w tym cztery złote. Dwukrotnie zwyciężała Karolina Michalczuk, a wygrywały też Beata Małek i 13 lat temu Koszewska (wówczas pod nazwiskiem Łukasik).
