Kawa and Walbrou make their mark at FAI World Gliding Championships
Poland's Sebastian Kawa and France's Killian Walbrou were the strongest performers as action finally got underway in the 15 metres and 18m classes at the World Air Sports Federation (FAI) World Gliding Championships in Australian city Benalla.

Mistrz świata z 2014 roku z Leszna wygrał drugą konkurencję, trzeciej był piąty. Na 7. pozycji jest sklasyfikowany Łukasz Grabowski (Diana 2), a na 21. Christoph Matkowski (ASW 27).
W klasie 18-metrowej Tomasz Krok (ASG 29) jest 27., natomiast Paweł Wojciechowski (JS1b) 29.
W Benalli szybownicy rywalizują także w klasie otwartej, w której 10. miejsce zajmuje Łukasz Wójcik (JS1c).
