Po słabych latach Ferrari doskonale zaczęło sezon 2022. Po trzech wyścigach obecnego cyklu zdecydowanie prowadzi w klasyfikacji konstruktorów. Indywidualnie Sainz zajmuje trzecie miejsce, a liderem jest jego kolega z zespołu Monakijczyk Charles Leclerc.
