Hours: 8.00am – approx. 5.00pm, Monday to Friday (including one hour for lunch)
Salary Package: Up to £28,000 per annum (dependant on skills and experience), including workwear, tools, other benefits and use of Company Van
Main Responsibilities:
Conduct site-based inspections of passive fire protection including fire stopping, fire doorsets, recording findings and requirements as appropriate.
Installation of fire stopping and fire door products to provide required fire resistance.
Completion of health and safety paperwork and other administration as required.
Other ad hoc tasks commensurate with the level of the post
Checkmate Fire is one of the UK’s largest passive fire protection companies with over 30 years' industry experience. We provide a full range of 3rd party accredited passive fire protection services (specialising in fire doors and fire compartment sealing) across the UK to a large portfolio of clients.

Physical Conditions:
Predominantly site based with the requirement to travel throughout London and to and from the office (Harlow).
Terms and Conditions:
On appointment, staff will normally be placed on the first point of the substantive grade for the post. Appointment above this will only be on an exceptional basis and subject to approval in line with our Pay Policy.
Annual Leave entitlement is 25 days during a complete holiday year (+ 8 normal bank / public holidays).

Probationary Period:
Appointment to this position may be subject to a probationary period of 6 months, in line with our Probationary Policy, although we may extend the probationary period at our discretion.

6. Excellent time management and coordination skills (E)
7. Excellent customer service and communication skills (E)
8. Self-motivated, flexible and ability to work independently (E)
9. Computer literate - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) (E)
