NMC REGISTERED NURSE (ideally ENGLISH AND POLISH SPEAKING)
ANTOKOL CARE HOME, 45 HOLBROOK LANE, CHISLEHURST, KENT, BR7 6PE
36/48 HOURS PER WEEK

Antokol Polish Care Home provides a combination of residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 36 residents. Set within a busy residential/nursing home for older people, the Registered Nurse will ensure that residents receive the high level of care to meet their needs. Your duties will include establishing positive relationships with residents and staff, promoting safe working practices, providing personal and nursing care, administering medication plus all other associated duties as required.

You will have to:
• comply with Home’s Policies and Procedures, the NMC's Code of Professional Conduct and Scope of Professional Practice at all times, to ensure that all residents have full nursing assessments, an individual care plans and risk assessment in place.
• be responsible for the safe custody of drugs, their administration and disposal in accordance with the NMC's Statement on the Administration of Medicines and Antokol’s own Policies and Procedures.

Skills/Experience:
• You will hold Nurse Qualification (RGN).
• Ideally able to communicate in English and Polish language professionally.
• You will have a current NMC registration.
• You will have a flexible attitude and a person centred ethos.
• Show empathy and a desire to make a difference.
• You will be up to date with current practices, show leadership qualities and be willing to take ownership for the delivery of quality care.
• You will have experience of supporting Elderly, Dementia and fragile people.
• You will have experience of managing safe systems for the administration of medication within a health & social care setting.

• You will have the right to work in the UK.

We can offer 36 per week.
