TEAM LEADER – POLISH GROCERY SHOP

Salary- £13.00-£14.00per/hour based on experience  / NEGOTIABLE

FULL TIME

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused **Team Leader** to join our Polish grocery shop in Greenford 

As Team Leader, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the store, supporting the Store Manager and leading the team to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards throughout the shop.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, is organised, and can take responsibility in a busy retail environment.

 Key Responsibilities

- Lead, support and motivate the shop team on a daily basis

- Provide friendly and helpful customer service

- Assist with opening and closing the store

- Ensure shelves are fully stocked and products are attractively displayed

- Check deliveries and help with stock rotation

- Monitor product dates and maintain good food hygiene standards

- Operate the till and handle cash accurately

-Work on the meat department

- Deal with customer queries professionally

- Support stock ordering and inventory checks

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation

- Ensure company procedures and health & safety standards are followed

- Support the Store Manager with the smooth running of the shop

- Take responsibility for the store and team when the Manager is not present

We are looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in retail, grocery or supermarket work

- Confident leading and supporting a team

- Friendly, approachable and customer-focused

- Reliable, responsible and well organised

- Comfortable working in a busy environment

- Able to work independently and use initiative

- Flexible regarding working hours, including weekends

- Confident handling cash and using a till

- A good communicator

Fluent Polish is essential , and the ability to communicate in English is also required.
