Live out Nanny/Housekeeper role in Chiswick

Job Title: Live Out Nanny / Housekeeper

Location: Chiswick, London

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 12/1pm and 4pm to 7pm

Salary: £17/hr net per hour

Start Date: 10th May 2026

The Family

A warm, organised household with two children aged 14 and 11. The home (5 rooms, 2 reception, 2 bathrooms and 2 cloakroom toilets) with a weekly cleaner at weekends. The mother has a bit more flexible schedule over the next few months and is looking for a collaborative, dependable professional who fits well with the family rhythm. Occasional babysitting only.

Responsibilities

Housekeeping

• Maintain overall cleanliness throughout the home

• Hoovering, mopping floors, dusting, polishing

• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and toilets

• Changing sheets and bed linen regularly

• Laundry management: washing, ironing, folding, organising wardrobes

• Deep sorting and seasonal wardrobe updates

• Kitchen upkeep and cleaning appliances

• Polishing surfaces and managing household supplies

• Organising and tidying shared spaces

• Running errands such as dry cleaning, post office, shopping and returns

• To sweep weekly front and back garden

• Carrying out and organising weekly shopping

• Empty and take out bins daily

• Packing luggage for the family pre holidays

Cooking

• Preparing healthy, balanced meals from scratch (no use of ready made meals)

• Opportunity to lead meal planning and grocery organisation

Nanny Duties

• School drop offs and pick ups

• Transporting children to clubs, appointments and activities

• Booking appointments (medical, dental, school related etc)

• Overseeing homework and supporting with school routines

• Supporting children’s general needs as required

Requirements

• Good English proficiency

• Previous experience in combined nanny and housekeeping roles

• Strong organisational skills and initiative

• Willingness to commit long term

• DBS certificate
