We have an exciting vacancy for an experienced, competent Account Assistant to join our growing business. We are looking for a person who can self-motivate with a can-do attitude.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and tenacious character who wants to be part of a developing and growing team.
JOB OVERVIEW:
Issuing invoices
Preparing bi-weekly payroll for c.90 contractors
Supervision over company invoicing to the final stage of payment
Preparation of self-invoicing applications
Debt chasing
First point of contact with clients to settle outstanding invoices, managing any clients disputes and escalating to the debts enforcement
Bank statements reconciliation
Managing client's queries
Liaise with project teams to confirm job completion/ details and prepare client invoices using Xero
Review and approval of expenses claims against company policy followed by reimbursement
Other ad hock duties
You will need to be comfortable with a multi-tasking, high-energy environment.
It is office based, permanent position.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
Have experience in similar position
Have previously used Xero accounting system
Have strong MS Office skills / Google Suite
Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and organisational skills are also essential as are attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work
Be self-motivated and a problem-solver
Must be hands-on, proactive in approach and calm under pressure
Be able to prioritise effectively and be able to juggle several tasks at the same time
Should be creative, self-motivated and analytical problem solver
