Are you enthusiastic, reliable, and love working with food and people? We’re looking for a General Assistant to join our lively sandwich and salad bar team!

This is a multi-skilled, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be an essential part of our team, helping to serve our loyal customers and support our expanding corporate catering service.

What You’ll Do:

 • Greet and serve customers in the shop with a smile 😊

 • Take and prepare food orders – sandwiches, salads, and more – to a high standard

 • Handle cash and card payments accurately

 • Help prepare and pack large corporate orders for delivery

 • Support our office catering service for local businesses

 • Deliver local office orders using our cargo bike (don’t worry – we’ll train you!)

 • Keep the shop clean, organised, and fully stocked

 • Take on other general day-to-day duties to keep things running smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

 • Friendly, customer-focused attitude

 • Quick and confident with hands-on food prep

 • Able to multitask and stay calm under pressure

 • Reliable and punctual

 • Comfortable cycling short distances (training provided for the cargo bike)

 • Experience in food service or hospitality is a bonus, but not essential – we’ll teach you the rest!

Full time Monday to Thursday 5.30am - 3.30pm 40 hours per week

Full time Monday to Thursday 6.30am - 2 pm & Friday 10am -3pm ( 35 hours per week )

Part time - Monday to Friday 11am - 3pm

Part time Monday to Thursday 9am - 2pm
