Full Job Description

Originating from Copenhagen, The Bread Station is an organic Danish bakery in the heart of London Fields, Hackney. We are a full production bakery workshop providing wholesale services across London, and a supporting café with large sunny courtyard. Recently acknowledged as one of Europe's Best bakeries.

We produce a wonderful range of yeast free, 100% organic natural sourdough breads and pastries, using Danish baking principles. We also mill our own flour on site for quality excellence.

Working alongside our experienced Head Baker, and our co–founder, ex–michelin Star chef Chris Hruskova, we are looking for passionate, capable Bakers to join our expanding team.

Baking experience and requirements:

Minimum 2 years employment in a busy bakery

Ideally high quantity craft baking environment

Experience in both making doughs, and pastry

Passionate about baking specialist breads and keen to develop skill

A strong team player with a positive attitude to problem solving

Happy and able to work nights

This is a full–time position. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without restrictions and be available for 40+ hours per work including weekend shifts

The salary is based on experience, we are open to both junior and highly experienced bakers. There is also great potential for progression as we are expanding.
