Project Manager - Weybridge, Surrey

Excalibur Building contractors Ltd. are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to work on various residential projects in the area of Surrey and South West London.

Key responsibilities:

· Overseeing several residential projects at the same time

· Preparing documentation packs including RAMS, programme of works, specifications and schedules

· Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations

· Confirming building plans with Surveyors, Architects, and Engineers

· Organising and negotiating contracts with key sub–contractors and overseeing third–party contractors

· Purchasing and hiring building equipment and materials

· Undertake daily administration related to the projects

· Manage costs in order to meet budget

· Attending site meetings

· Ensuring that each stage of the project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard

· Resolving any issues or delays

· Monitoring and closing off snagging and any defective work

Essential qualifications and skills

· Experience in a similar role is essential

· Good knowledge of the construction industry

· Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards

· Outstanding communication and negotiation skills

· In–depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles

Salary: £50,000.00–£65,000.00 per year
