Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi wins the 2019 Jump of the Year award

The Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi won the Jump of the Year award - for the largest total length of all attempts at the World Cup in 2019. In 54 ski jumping he achieved a total of 8,272 m. The second place went to Austrian Stefan Kraft - 7,959 m, and the third Kamil Stoch - 7,890.5 m.

Cała trójka startowała we wszystkich konkursach, ale Kraft i Stoch oddali po 53 skoki. Pierwszy z nich nie zakwalifikował się do drugiej serii zawodów w Garmisch-Partenkirchen, a drugiemu nie udała się ta sztuka w Zakopanem.

Czwarty w klasyfikacji Skoku Roku 2019 był Dawid Kubacki - 7 887,5 m, a siódmy Piotr Żyła - 7 544 m.

Nagroda Skok Roku, której pomysłodawcą jest dziennikarz sportowy, a obecnie poseł na Sejm Tomasz Zimoch, została przyznana po raz osiemnasty.
