Independent womenswear designer looking for a skilled seamstress to sew dresses and occasionwear from scratch (no alterations).
Location: London, or work from your own studio
Pay: Budgets are modest and agreed per garment or project
Scope of work:
- sewing prototypes and one-off garments
- working from sketches and fittings
- occasional small production runs
Requirements:
- experience sewing garments from scratch
- high attention to detail and finishing
- pattern cutting / draping a plus
Working style:
- freelance
- flexible schedule (weekday or weekend work possible)
Looking for someone for ongoing collaboration, not a one-off project.
