Biomedical Scientist – Multidisciplinary lab (day shifts)

Join our UKAS-accredited medical laboratory, dedicated to delivering fast, accurate, and reliable diagnostic services across the UK. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a full-time Biomedical Scientist to join our multidisciplinary team.

What we’re looking for:

• A degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent relevant qualification

• Some prior lab experience is a plus, but we provide full training

• HCPC registration is highly desirable and considered a strong advantage (but not essential)

• Good attention to detail, organisational skills, and problem-solving ability

• A team-oriented approach, open to feedback and continuous learning

Key responsibilities include:

• Work across multiple departments, including biochemistry, haematology, microbiology, and molecular pathology

• Perform routine and specialised diagnostic tests in accordance with lab protocols and quality standards

• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance

• Validate and interpret test results, ensuring timely, accurate, and clinically relevant reporting

• Collaborate with colleagues, clinicians, and external partners to ensure seamless sample flow and patient care
