Finance Assistant (Part time Mon-Wedn 24 hrs)

Responsibilities are:
- Manage a weekly payment sheet/payment runs/generating proof of payments
- Purchase/Sales Ledger invoicing
- Review P&L for internal shows and liaise with the Booking Department to control costs
- Chase all debit balances in the vendor accounts
- Undertake bi-weekly reviews of aged creditors, reporting on and providing commentary on all aged creditors to the Directors
- Provide information when requested on the monthly accounts plan vs actual deviation
- Petty cash/credit card expenses reconciliation
- Maintain and review the fixed assets register
Required skills:
- Solid knowledge of standard accountancy and finance best practices
- Solid IT skills, including proficiency in the relevant accounting packages
- Good analytical skills to effectively analyse financial reports
Other information:
- Self-employed for the first three months
- Working hours 09:00-17:00
- Salary dependent on experience
- Office based
- AAT part or fully qualified
