FLT DRIVERS NEEDED - EDMONTON N9

We are looking for FORK LIFT DRIVERS to join to our company based on North London near Edmonton Green Station.

Operate the Forklift/Tele–handler to move, relocate, stack, count, loading and unload bales of material. Maintain the correct working procedure while using the Forklift/Tele–handler including pre–use checks. Manage the Forklift/Tele–handler in a safe manner, abiding by all safety rules to ensure a safe working environment.

Main areas of responsibility: 

•    Efficient transportation of bale to the correct identified storage areas, minimising contamination where possible?

•    Load outgoing trucks

•    Moving and stacking bales in the correct areas

•    Keeping the work place area clean and tidy

•    Working within the Health & safety standards, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions relating to this operation.

•    Carry out daily checks in accordance with the site procedures and site plan.

•    Carry out pre–use checks and record any defects bringing them to the attention of the supervisor.

•    Ensuring the routine maintenance is carried out such as machine cleaning and lubricating

Qualification/Experience required:

* Hold a UK recognised valid Forklift/Tele–handler license

* Experience is not required tutemale will be additional advantage.

* Must be good English

Skills and Competencies:

Able to work quickly and safely during busy periods

Have a good level of English;

Good communication skills at all levels;

Ability to carry our written instruction and keep documented records

Good understanding of Health and Safety

Knowledge of procedures and operations

Able to prioritise workloads

Pay rate: £7.50–£8.05 per hour, possible overtime.

Shifts pattern: 2 day, 2 nights, 4 days off.
