Stall Assistant – Ma Ma Boutique Bakery (Borough Market)

We are looking for a friendly, reliable person to join our 100% gluten-free artisan bakery stall at Borough Market.

Hours & pay

• Wednesday–Sunday, 9:30am–5:30pm

• £15 per hour

• Immediate start available

• Paid trial shifts

• Location: Borough Market, London SE1 (outdoor stall under cover in the Green Market)

What you’ll be doing

• Serving customers with great service and a smile

• Handling payments and keeping the stall tidy

• Restocking and helping set up/pack down each day

• Talking confidently about our freshly baked breads, pastries and cakes

What we’re looking for

• Previous customer service or retail experience (market or café experience a bonus)

• Positive, proactive attitude and good communication skills

• Reliability and punctuality — Borough Market is busy, and we need someone we can count on

• Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons (stall is covered)
