Job description
Well established Architecture & Construction company with its office based in North West London is looking for a full time Junior Office Administrator.
Reporting to Senior Administrator, the Junior Office Administrator will be responsible for assisting with the day–to–day office administration and ensure the smooth running of the office.
This is a permanent role with the hours being 09.00 – 17.00., Monday to Friday.
Main responsibilities
Your initial tasks will include (but will not be limited to):
• Assisting with administrative tasks
• Ensure the smooth day–to–day running of the office and over time help to establish, maintain, and improve office procedures.
• Arranging meetings
• Dealing with the post, scanning and filing
• Maintaining and updating filing systems
• Deal with company correspondence including emails, phone calls, letters and parcels and assist colleagues with arranging deliveries and courier services.
• Assist the senior management team with ad hoc duties e.g diary management, research etc.
• Assist Project Managers with procurement
• Maintain office's filing and record–keeping systems
• Liaise with external vendors, including IT providers, office supply vendors, and other service providers.
• To undertake any other duties, as needed, from time to time.
Requirements
• Previous experience in an office administrator role is preferred but not necessary
• Motivated, you have a "can do" attitude
• Have an eye for detail, are organised and have the ability to maintain accurate records
• Great written and verbal communication skills, polite and professional manner
• Team player, you enjoy working closely with a team
• Well organised
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Good time management and efficiency
• Good IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
