Paris' already crowded electric scooter market is to get another new addition - thanks to sprint superstar Usain Bolt. Electric scooters have become wildly popular but also controversial in Paris over the last year, helping commuters navigate traffic but also seen as a nuisance and a danger by others.

"W ciągu lat wiele podróżowałem po całym świecie, widziałem w miastach ogromne korki i przekonałem się o potrzebie wprowadzenia nowych środków transportu" - stwierdził ośmiokrotny mistrz olimpijski.
"Mniej samochodów, więcej hulajnóg - to sposób na łatwiejsze i bezpieczniejsze poruszanie się" - dodał rekordzista świata w biegach na 100 i 200 m. 32-letni Jamajczyk zakończył karierę lekkoatletyczną w 2017 roku.
Elektryczne hulajnogi stają się coraz bardziej popularne w wielkich miastach. W Paryżu jest ich obecnie 15 tys., a liczba ta do końca roku ma wzrosnąć do 40 tys.
