The supermarket Lidl is recalling its own brand of fruit yoghurt and honey peanuts because the packets fail to tell customers they contain milk and peanuts.

Brytyjski oddział Lidla wycofuje z obrotu jogurt Milbona Fruit Yoghurt, sprzedawany w ośmiopakach po 125 gramów każdy i z datą ważności do 18.08.2016. Na ich opakowaniu nie było umieszczonej po angielsku informacji, że produkt zawiera mleko.
Kolejnym wycofanym produktem są orzechy w miodzie Alesto Honey Peanuts w 200-gramowej paczce z datą ważności do 02.2017. Podobnie jak w przypadku jogurtu, zabrakło informacji podkreślającej, że w składzie są... orzechy.
Decyzja została podjęta po interwencji rządowej Food Standards Agency, która oceniła, że produkty te mogą być zagrożeniem dla ludzi z nietolerancją laktozy lub alergią na orzechy.
