Felix leveled up with Bolt and Ottey
American Allyson Felix, who finished third in the 400m athletics world championship in London, won her fourteenth medal in the history of the event. It equaled the record holders - Jamaican Usain Bolt and his compatriot Merlene Ottey.

Broniąca tytułu Felix uzyskała wczoraj w Londynie czas 50,08. Triumfowała inna z Amerykanek, Phyllis Francis (49,92).
To jej drugi brązowy medal MŚ w karierze. Oprócz tego 31-letnia zawodniczka zdobyła dziewięć złotych (najwięcej ze wszystkich kobiet) i trzy srebrne.
Czternaście medali MŚ mają w swoim dorobku również Bolt (11 złotych, 2 srebrne, 1 brązowy) oraz Ottey (odpowiednio 3-4-7). Słynny jamajski sprinter może poprawić to osiągnięcie - wystąpi w sztafecie 4x100 m, ale Felix ma szansę jeszcze bardziej wyśrubować swoje osiągnięcie. Amerykanka może wystartować bowiem w obu sztafetach, czyli 4x100 i 4x400 m.
