Team Leader required

Smart Solutions is currently recruiting for a Team Leader for full–time ongoing work with an immediate start in a recycling center located in the Edmonton N9

Pay Rate £12.72 (on training); overtime over 42 hours within the same working week (T&C apply).

Working (shifts) patterns:

4 on 4 off shift pattern with:

2 day shifts 8 am – 7 pm

2 night shifts 8 pm – 7 am

Followed by 4 days off

Main duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the shift key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational action plans are met and/or exceeded;
• Supervising the production 
• Mentoring, monitoring, and training new starters
• Delivery of practical training on picking techniques, picking priorities, and general health and safety

Requirements

• Previous experience of team leading in a production environment;
• Experience in working in waste, recycling, or production environments;
• Communicative level of English;
• Good communication skills at all levels;
• Strong motivational and interpersonal skills;
• Initiative, drive, and enthusiasm;
• Excellent understanding of Health and Safety Legislation;
